Ogier Roots!

At the Sarchet Reunion held in Cambridge, Ohio, June 24, 2000,
I was fortunate enough to meet David and Joyce Sarchet from Cridersville, OH.
David had three books on the Sarchet family written by Douglas Richardson, of Arizona,
and allowed me to peruse them during the gathering. In them I found an ancestry
of Jean Sarchet Ogier that adds more information on his parents and grandparents
and identifies his great-grandfather as being another Jean Ogier.
(No name is given for that gentleman's wife.)

Descendants of Jean Ogier I

For convience sake, I am calling the first Jean Ogier that is in John Sarchet Ogier's background, I, and his son Jean Ogier II.

Of Jean Ogier II, there is no information save that on January 14, 1762, in Vale, Guernsey, Channel Islands, he married
Elizabeth D'Ecaudeville. Both of them are presumed to have died after 1781.
